Fresh Catch Deli is a family-owned, Mediterranean-inspired fishmonger dedicated to bringing premium-quality seafood directly to your door.

We offer a carefully selected range of fresh and frozen seafood, including shellfish, white fish, oily fish, and Mediterranean-inspired specialty products.

My name is Duwayne Da Silva, founder of Fresh Catch Deli.

What started as a small side venture supplying seafood to friends, family, and colleagues quickly grew through word-of-mouth into something much bigger. Along the way, I realised that many South Africans had limited access to high-quality seafood at affordable prices. For most consumers, the only options were mainstream retailers, where seafood was often seen as a luxury rather than an everyday healthy meal choice.

I believed there had to be a better way.

Opening a traditional fishmonger with expensive retail premises, high overheads, and limited reach would ultimately increase costs for customers. Instead, I envisioned a modern fishmonger without the barriers of a physical storefront, allowing us to focus on what matters most: quality products, personal service, and exceptional value.

That vision became Fresh Catch Deli, which officially launched in 2017.

Our mission has remained unchanged since day one:
